Roadmap to change:
The future of hydrogen gas innovation. Our three phases ahead.

ROADMAP

Phase One: Foundation for HydrogenLift (2024)

In 2024, HydrogenLift will launch Phase One with an estimated investment of 5-10 MSEK. Building on the international patent secured in early 2023, this phase focuses on developing a lab prototype where we will test and refine the technology at the Vattenfall facilities in Älvkarleby.

Key components, including an electrolyzer, compressors, heat exchanger, and gas expansion modules, will be leased or sourced to support this setup. Calculation software and essential tools will enable safe, precise testing. Through these steps, we aim to validate our technology and attract future investment, setting the stage for sustainable growth.

Phase Two: Market Testing and Pilot Development (2025-2026)

During 2025-2026, Hydrogen Lift will enter Phase Two, with an estimated investment of 50-100 MSEK. This phase focuses on market testing and technical verification, paving the way for full-scale commercialization. Our first step will be to contract a strategic partner to support the expansion and application of our hydrostatic energy efficiency concept, the HL Method.

A key milestone will be the construction of a pilot facility that integrates our technology into an existing energy production site, such as a hydropower or wind farm. This setup will enable us to combine hydrogen production with Hydrogen Lift’s unique hydrostatic efficiency enhancements. Our consortium, now strengthened by our partners product portfolio and expertise, will help drive this innovative integration forward, showcasing the potential of sustainable energy production on a larger scale.

Phase Three: Full-Scale Production
(2027-2028)

Phase 3 is a commercialized, full-scale production facility for green hydrogen gas, designed for either onshore or offshore operations. We are eager to realize the facility’s production capacity, with the aim of accelerating the green transition, phasing out fossil fuels, and supporting an electrified society that contributes to our global climate targets.
